“Building a Better World for Women & Girls”
Zonta is an International organization dedicated to “Building a Better World for Women & Girls” by empowering women through service, education and advocacy on both an International and local level. The new Zonta International Strategic Plan has set out a framework that will guide us into the future, while still leaving room for clubs to work locally on projects that are meaningful to them.
We are proud that the Zonta Club of Toronto is represented by members of different nationalities, ages and yes, we do have a wonderful male member. We hope to continue to attract people of diverse backgrounds that reflect the diversity of the Greater Toronto Area.
Membership in Zonta offers the opportunity to participate at whatever level of commitment is right for you and in areas that are a concern for you. Violence Against Women, Zonta Says Now to support gender-equal climate action, service projects to provide for underserved and indigent women and children in the GTA.
The rewards of membership in Zonta are far reaching: Service, Networking and Fellowship, Diversity, Leadership, Advancement of Women, Education, International Interaction and Travel. Throw in a healthy dose of fun and friendship and Zonta may be the vehicle for brokering change that you have been looking.
