Toronto Club Donates Gloves to Local Hospital

As a result of the social distancing required during the Covid-19 crisis , the Zonta Club of Toronto, like all Zonta clubs, has had to cancel their annual Spring Birthing Kit assembly event.  Among the materials stockpiled for the event, were 4,000 latex gloves.
  • The hospitals in Toronto had put out a call for donations of unopened boxes of PPE. With the permission of Medical Mart who supplied the gloves to the Toronto club, all 4,000 gloves were donated to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Toronto.
  • “Our front-line workers need these products more than ever.  Your organizations act of kindness will go a long way.”  Peter Dennis, Medical Mart
